With sadness, we share the passing of Harry Leroy Allen of Shipman, Illinois. Harry, born on December 31, 1934, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Woodrow and Agnes Lenora Allen (Pottinger); his grandparents, Roy and Martha Pottinger; his son Donald Simons; his sisters, Martha Broffey and Darlene Barnwell; Myrna.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Cameron (Cliff), Darla Wilfong (Norman), Jeff Allen (LuWanda), Shawn Allen and Danny Simons; his siblings, Kenneth, Donald Allen (Rose), Aggie Gyorkos and Brenda Allen (Rob Dwinnells); and his daughter-in-law Jodi Simons. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
