He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Brueggeman and Hermina Brueggeman (Schaffer); and his siblings, Gene Brueggeman, Helen "Susie" Brueggeman and Mary Pittman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Margie Foster (Mike) of Plainview and Russell "Bud" Brueggeman (Michelle) of Plainview; his grandchildren, Riley Brueggeman (Kayla Smalter) of Carlinville and Kylie James (Devin) of Sikeston; his great grandchildren, Peyton and Kadin James; and his sister-in-law Verna Robinson of Shipman.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Shipman Cemetery (800 Prairie St, Shipman, IL 62685).
Memorials may be made to Macoupin County Center for the Developmentally Disabled (MCDD), a place that his mother helped start, and where his sister attended for most of her life.
