He was predeceased by : his father Roy McQuaid; his wife Sherry Lynn; and his mother Kay McQuaid (Moran). He is survived by : his siblings, Skip McQuaid (Marcia) and Sherrie Durbin (Randy); and his sister-in-law Gloria Joyce. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Family Funeral Home (501 W Center St, Brighton, IL 62012). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
