He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Peceniak and Ann Peceniak (Tobias). He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Peceniak (Kramerich) of Shorewood; his daughter Kerri; his son-in-law Tim Ciesla of Shorewood; his grandchildren, Casey, Caeley and Caitlyn Ciesla; his siblings, Patricia Foster (David) of Wellington, IL, Dennis Peceniak (Fay) of Arizona and Lawrence Peceniak (Mary) of Joliet; his aunt Marie Peceniak; his sister-in-law Joanne Peceniak (Szawars); and also Anne Kramerich (Bauer). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (600 Brook Forest Ave, Shorewood, IL 60404). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Joliet (1500 N Raynor Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
