She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Tully and Mabel Bergman; her husband Henry "Hank" Francis Tough, Jr.; and her siblings, Tom, Don, Eddie and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Henry "Hank" Tough III (Carol) and Patricia Karasek (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Henry "Hank" Tough IV (April), Keith Tough (Lauren), Rick Tough (Erin), Dustin Karasek and Kelsey Karasek; her great grandchildren, Ava Tough, Celia Tough, Rylee Tough and Parker Tough; and her sisters, Shirley, Peggy and Dorothy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (15629 Illinois Route 59, Plainfield, Illinois 60544). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery - Justice (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
