He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Capps and Vera Capps; his mother-in-law Florence Irwin (Don); and his brother-in-law Tom Booker. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Carol Capps; his daughters, Jennifer Capps and Nickole Lynch (Ray); his grandchildren, Kaylynn, Zachary, Nicholas and Gabriella Ramirez; his siblings, Denzil Ray Capps, II (Alice) and Theresa Jones (Ken); his brother-in-law Duane Booker; and his close friends, Robin Wicevic, Rick and Shane Bulian. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
