He was predeceased by : his father Carl Griffin; his wife Sonnie (Johnson); his siblings, Richard Grimes of Lexington, Brenda Griffin Koch and Cheryl Griffin White of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Daniel Lee Griffin, Chase William Griffin and Natosha Colleen Griffin.
He is survived by : his children, Wade Lee Griffin of Sidell, Danny Joe Griffin (Tammie) of Indianola and Debra Sue Burgess of Newman, Illinois.; his sister Karen Johnson (Lanie) of Rockville; his sister-in-law Debbie Cisco Grimes of Lexington; and his close friend Jack Jack. He is also survived by his 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
