In loving memory of Elizabeth J. Maddox of Sidell, Illinois, who departed this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell DeNeal and Margaret Finney DeNeal; her daughter Debra Bodine; and her sister Peggy Swinford (Joe). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Maddox; her children, Rodney Maddox (Britta) and Lisa Jarvis (Brad); her son-in-law Kevin Bodine; her grandchildren, Erika Allen, Brock Bodine (Caitlin Duffy), Cory Allen, Clayton Maddox (Tara), Blake Bodine (Haley) and Luke Maddox (Lexi); and her great grandchildren, Maia Maddox, Olivia Maddox, Warren Bodine and Wren Bodine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Danville First Church of the Nazarene (2212 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials in her memory may be made to the church.
