Frances H. Hoene Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 92, Frances H. Hoene of Sigel, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances H. Hoene to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fuesting and Mary Fuesting (Kollmeyer); her husband Clarence "Shorty" Hoene; and her children, Bernie "Bud" Hoene, David Hoene and Lori Sue.
She is survived by: her children, Jean "Sis" Harder (Kevin) of Effingham, Bill Hoene (Marlene Ruholl) of Sigel, Julie Alba (Rob) of Charlotte, NC, Tim Hoene of Sigel and Kathleen Meyer (Brian) of Sigel; and her daughter-in-law Karen Hoene. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (200 Church St, Sigel, IL 62462).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel School.
