It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Bell of Silvis, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kendall and Inez Reinholdt Kendall; her husband Benny Bell; her son Richard Roeper; her grandson Jeremy Franks; and her great great grandchild Ivyeanna Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Marcella Anderson (Rick) of New Windsor, Sandra Helgason (Brad) of Davenport, Brenda Kauzlarich (Craig) of Colona, Kim Sikorski (Mark) of Davenport, Karla Johnston (Bruce) of Rock Island and Karen VanOpdorp (Todd) of Moline; and her daughter-in-law Debra Roeper. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 37 (plus one on the way) great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
