In loving memory of Derrick L. Yerkey of Silvis, Illinois, who departed this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 59. Derrick leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Yerkey (Hendricks). He is survived by: his father Roger Yerkey (Linda) of Sun City, AZ; his wife Tina Bacus; his son Tyler Wilson (Amber Stover); his grandchildren, Keegan and Macklin "Punk"; and his siblings, Jeff Yerkey (Jean), Ben Duke (Michele), Ryan Yerkey of Eugene, OR, Reid Yerkey, Bettendorf and Lisa Cox (Steve) of Clarkdale, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jaded Java (615 15th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244).
A memorial fund has been established.
