It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Mitten of Silvis, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Mitten and Anna Mitten (Fender); his former wife Mary Joan Linton; his wife Mary Mitten; and his siblings, Eloise and Julian.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Mitten, Evanna Zaiss (Dan), Tammy Mitten and Eric Mitten (Kristin); and his siblings, Bruce Mitten (Karen), Mary Mercer (Tim) and Peter Mitten. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
