He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dark and Anna Dark (McDonald); his wife Margaret H. Hopkins; and his brothers, Thomas and James Dark.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Hazel Hopkins of New Philadelphia, Illinois and Tom Hopkins of Girard, Illinois; his nieces, Joyce Jamerson of Nelson, Debra Lewis of St. Joseph, Dianna Dark of Branson, Brenda Allen of Jasper and Beverly Palma of Salinas, California; Doug Shappard. He is also survived by 9 nieces and 12 nephews.
