He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Julien Julneus Simon and Jeanne M. Simon; and his brothers, Pierre Justin Simon and Mathieu Simon of Haiti. He is survived by: his children, Emmanuel Simon, Juldina Simon and Andy Simon; his grandchildren, Emanee Kay, Emari Kingston, Emery K'Sha, Ezra Kingsley and Elizabeth Katherine; and his brothers, Bishop Joseph Fritz Simon (Rose Marie) of Providence, RI and Bishop Marc P. Simon (Marie Rosiana) of Brockton, MA.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Skokie Valley Baptist Church (1050 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091).
