It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel B. Benbow of Skokie, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reynald Spencer and Daisy Wolf Spencer; and her sibling Aubrey. She is survived by: her children, Faron Henry (Von) and Stacey M. Benbow; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Rebecca, Elijah, Menkhari, Mckhi Henry, Sepheria Benbow-Williams, Paige and Joshua Benbow; her great grandchildren, Khamaria, Serenity, Isaiah Jr., Zemara and Zaccheaus; and her siblings, Albert (Hortence Spencer), Hermaline (William Spencer) and Lucille Smith.
