He was predeceased by: his parent Pleas; his spouse Alcira; and his siblings, Wayne Smith (Doris), Verlene Barr (Charles), Inearl (Howard), Gladys Sherrer (Manuel), Pleas J. Smith and Bernice Hancock (Harold).
He is survived by: his son Luis Smith (Sarah Pilkenton); and his sister Carolyn Morehead (late Richard).
