As Judith departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Judith leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her brother Harold "Chatters" Schroeder, Jr.; and her parents, Harold Schroeder and Helen Schroeder. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristine Marubio (Michael) and Nicole Demetriou (Luis Campos); and her grandchildren, Mirabella and Max Marubio.
She served as a docent at the Chicago Architecture Foundation for twenty years where she especially enjoyed giving tours of Frank Lloyd Wright homes as well as landmarks in downtown Chicago, Kenilworth, and other historic home sites.
