It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lars Anderson (Skokie, Illinois), who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lars Anderson to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Lars; his children, Emily, Ayden (Lars) and Trystan; his parents, Kristy Anderson and Don Anderson (Ellie); his siblings, Ingrid Luse (Brad), Erick Anderson (Hilary), Kurt Anderson (Jennifer), Jesus and Kaarin Anderson; his grandparents, Robert, Marjorie Nowaskey, Donald and Irene Anderson; Kaarin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Go-Fund-Me (https://gofund.me) that has been created to help ease the financial stress of Lars's three children while they take all of the time they need to be together and grieve their immense loss. A portion will be earmarked for donation in Lars' name to the Special Education Department at Glenbrook South High School to help support the students that he loved like his own.
