He is survived by: his children, Hannah Edwards (Brandon) and Ailish Wasserman (Justin Rogers); his sisters, Eileen Valfer (late Michael) and Donna Okun (Martin); his cousins, Sharyl (Gary), Robin and Andrew Purvin (Jill); and his close friend Beatrice.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076). A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM at the Congregation Beth Shalom (3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062).
