She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Kirk; her husband John Bruner; her children, Patricia Yamane (Robert), Cynthia Gonzalez (Marco) and William Zidel; her stepdaughter Denise Benninghoff; her grandchildren, Brandon, Eric, Alexandra Yamane, Andrea Owens (Alex), Christopher and Justin Gonzalez; and her stepgrandchildren, Wendy Bradford (Robert) and Scott Benninghoff (Rebekah).
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Haben Funeral Home & Crematory (8057 Niles Center Rd, Skokie, IL 60077). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sheridan National Cemetery.
