She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Deutsch; her parents, Samuel Ross and Sarah Ross; and her sister Esther Appleton (late Sydney). She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Stephen (Diane), Howard (Lisa Dunn), Larry (Deb) and Barry Deutsch (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Joya Balk (Austin), Dr. Andrew Deutsch (Hilary), Kate Aliaga (Daniel), Steve Deutsch (Maggie), Alyse Kramer (Tyler), Justin Deutsch, Joe Deutsch (Lauren Zabrin Deutsch), Corine Deutsch (Josh Joseph), Julia Deutsch Tillman (Brandon Tillman), Meredith, Garrett, Blair Deutsch, Ariela and Talia Katz; and her great grandchildren, Mae, Jake, Olive, Scarlett, Luke, Grayson, Abby, Avery, Milo, Dottie, Ben and Emilia.
