She was predeceased by: her husband Edward B. Melnick; and her sisters, Eva Shure (late Max), Ida Rick (late Dave) and Rena Hirsch (late Sam). She is survived by: her children, Bennett Melnick (Diane), Lester Melnick and Nina Silverstein (Irwin); her grandchildren, Ilana Silverstein (Steven Krigel), Julie Frenkel (B. Louis), Ian Melnick (Lauren Gold), Lena Melnick and Everett Melnick (Jaime); and her great grandchildren, Dalia Krigel, Siggy, Joey Frenkel, Emma, Olive Melnick and Noa Melnick. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
