She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeo Paul and Marie Ethel Cunningham (Wilson); her stepfather Frank Peppers; and her brothers, Mark Swofford and John Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Coates of Cuba and Brandon Coates of Smithboro; and her siblings, Jane Koonce of Greenville, Julie Cunningham of Greenville and Forrest'Pee Wee'Peppers of Kansas.
The family asks that donations, in memory of Trudy, be given in lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts to the Bond County Health Department – Mental Health & Addiction Center.
