He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Raymond and Grace Irene White (Potter); and his sister Elinor White. He is survived by: his children, Marcus White (Mary Beth) of Danvers, Michael White (Dawn) of Smithfield and Melissa Sallee (Chris); his grandchildren, Sierra Grace White, Zachary Ethan White, Chase Michael White, Carter Mitchell White and Ainsley Irene White; Mariluan Deming (Theodore) of Smithfield, Illinois..
Interment will be held in the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Illinois with full military rites provided by the Cuba American Legion and the Honor Guard from Scott Air Force Base. memorials may be made in Don's memory to the Smithfield Fire Department, the Smithfield Church of the Nazarene, or the Clayberg Nursing Center.
