It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Ohlendorf (Smithton, Illinois), born in Elston, Missouri, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her daughter Carol Ann Sanders; her parents, Clarence (Pauline) and Schenewerk; and her daughter-in-law Rose Sanders. She is survived by : her husband Gary L. Ohlendorf; her children, Vickie Sanders, Patty Jurkowski (Paul) and Michael Sanders; her grandchildren, Amber Lynn, Jason Jones (Dawn), Nathaniel Jurkowski, Katie, Lauren and Becca Sanders; her great grandchildren, Kailey (Jalen), Lexe (Thomas), Brock, Bryley, Jaxson and Logan; her great great grandchildren, Xander and Ryder; her sister Patricia Sydnor; her brothers-in-law, Bob Ohlendorf (Barb), Dennis Ohlendorf (Pat) and David Ohlendorf; her close friend Jim Daab; and her protector Sadie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Hospice, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, or the Smithton Public Library.
