It is with sadness that the passing of Joan Woods of Smithton, Illinois is shared. Joan, born on January 11, 1934 in Marissa, Illinois, passed away on June 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Woods; her parents, Ernest (Flossie) and Petty; and her siblings, Maxine McMichael, Carlene Misselhorn and Ronald Petty.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Woods, Cindy Mackay (Eddy) and Michael Woods (Dottie); her grandchildren, Jamie Hauver (Tim), Nikki Cavallaro (Michael), Dustin Horn (Lenie), Danny Horn, Jennifer Horn, Lisa Sullivan and Matthew Woods; and her great grandchildren, Addison Hauver, J. R. Hauver, Wade Cavallaro, Heather Ray, Hazel Horn and Ella Horn.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
