In loving memory of Karen June Rhoda of Smithton, Illinois, born in Sikeston, Missouri, who departed this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her husband John Rhoda; her parents, Raymond (Pearly) and Rhoda; and her siblings, Coy Myrick, Joyce Durbin and Peggy Schuerenbereg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Garza (Louis) of Waterloo, IL and Anissa Pearce (Rick) of Smithton, IL; her brother Arnold Myrick (Sue) of Sikeston, MO; her grandsons, Anthony Garza (Claire) and Alexander Garza (Josie Harris); her great grandchild Baylor John Garza; and her pets, Zeke, Piper, Remi and Speckles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
