Mardel Frick Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mardel Frick (Smithton, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lyman and Marge Lyman; her sister Mary Lou Herzog; and her former husband Bernie Gutz. She is survived by: her husband Wes Frick; her children, Brandon Hout (Heidi), Brenda Dent (John) and Brian Hout (Maribel); her stepchildren, Amy Cortez (Michael), Melinda McCubbin (Travis) and Stacy Dahm (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Makayla of Makynzie, JR, Carson, Aulana, Brayden, Aaron, Alex, Jessica, Tyler, Allison, Ashley and Riley; and her siblings, Michael Lyman (Joan), Merle Lyman (Mary Beth), Mitch Lyman (Lauri) and Mark Lyman (Diane). She is also survived by loving aunt, uncles, cousins and dear nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Interfaith Food Pantry or to Siteman Cancer Center.
