She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil O. Bateman; her daughter Jenita Kaye (Stuart); and her parents, Earl Pailsey and Lenora Jane Pailsey. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Highsmith (Curtis) and Deborah Bateman (John); and her grandchildren, Jennifer, James, Christa and Chad. She is also survived by great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
