He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stahl and Aileen Stahl (Dannewitz); his brother Bill; and his siblings-in-law, Sara Jane Stahl and Roger Grandgeorge.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Fox; his children, Dan Stahl (Janna) of Batavia, Tom Stahl of Somonauk, Jim Stahl of Somonauk, Laura Barnes (Jeff) of Somonauk and Ben Stahl of Earlville; his grandchildren, Owen Stahl, Lane Stahl, Wyatt Stahl, Alex Barnes, Kira Barnes, Addyson Barnes, Tyler Stahl and Meridith Stahl; and his siblings, Karol Grandgeorge and Doug Stahl (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home (13160 US-34 W, Somonauk, IL 60552). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (235 S Green St, Somonauk, IL 60552). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
