He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Nathaniel Hazel and Ova Mae Hazel (Eades); his wife Judith Sue Hazel (Casper); and his siblings, Josephine Jennings (Hazel) and Tommy Hazel.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hazel (Carol) of Rock Falls, IL, Kimberly Cruse (Dave) of Somonauk, IL and Adam Hazel of Somonauk, IL; his grandchildren, Josiah Hazel (Jenna) of Omaha, NE, Daniel Hazel (Emma) of Chicago, IL and Abigail Vant Land (Brandon) of Crestline, CA.; his great grandchildren, Elin Hazel, August and Finley Vant Land; and his sisters, Eunice Williams and Sandra Carter. He is also survived by Paw Paw, IL and several nieces and nephews and in-laws.
