She is survived by: her children, Edwin Pelz (Ellen) of Bloomingdale, IL, Teresa Heuer of Sandwich, IL, Brian Pelz (Lori) of Carol Stream, IL, Dennis Pelz of Lombard, IL, Edith Cinfio (Nick) of Somonauk, IL, Steven Pelz (Kathleen) of Carol Stream, IL, Debra Surmin (Scott) of Hampshire, IL, Laura Soderberg (James) of Cohasset, MA and Pamela Fordon (John) of Huntingdon, TN; and her son-in-law John Mosher of Sandwich, IL..

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home (13160 US-34, Somonauk, IL 60552). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552). A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:15 AM at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery (320 S Depot St, Somonauk, IL 60552).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
