He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ray and Mary Ellen Denson; his grandparents, Myron and Dorthea Starbuck; and his siblings, Myron Hanley, Cindy Tino and Dolly Squires.
He is survived by: his wife Melodie Yvonne Shive; his son Aaron Denson (Libby); his grandsons, Jackson and Christopher; his daughter Laura Richardson (J. D.); his grandson Jimi; his sisters, Barbara Bradshaw, Mary Ellen "Cissy" Gibbs and Barbara Little; and his sister-in-law Renee Collins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sorento Community Building (105 E Taylor St, Sorento, IL 62086).
