He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Christian and Alma Alice Tarran (Lazenby); his siblings, George Kenneth Christian and Melva Irene Beeler; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Christian and Donald Beeler.
He is survived by: his sister Christene Welch; his stepchildren, Sharon Young (Eldon), Stacey Sidwell (Pam) and Stephen Sidwell (Linda); his grandchildren, Joni Sanders (John), Danny Young (Andrea), Tina Elam (Nathan), Toni Sidwell and Michael Sidwell (Elizabeth); and his sibling's children, Bronwyn Castillo (Riaz), Janet Douglas, Kim Groesbeck, Donna Funderburk (Rick), Joe Beeler (Lori), Mike Beeler (Lori), Clay Beeler (Sherri), Shane Pavolka (Michelle) and Eric Pavolka (Rachel). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in St. Louis. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Garold L. Christian 's name.
