Cowen (Sorento, Illinois), born in Highland, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Norredden Cowen and Elvia A. Cowen (Travis); his former life partner Mary Lou Depew; and his brother Norredden Gene Cowen. He is survived by : his wife Madeleine Jensen; his children, Greg Cowen (Susie) of Nineveh, IN, Kathryn Durbin (Steve) of Indianapolis, IN and Karen McNamara (Brent) of Indianapolis, IN; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Mary Kate, Jacob, Rachel, Emily, Kyle, Myles and Merrick; his great grandchildren, Ayden and Rowan; and his sister-in-law Betty Cowen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
