He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Agate and Bena Agate (Sciacca); his wife Marian V. Lamendola; and his brother Gasper Agate. He is survived by: his children, Michael Agate of Beloit, WI, Tony Agate (Carey) of Stoughton, WI, Tina Graham (Brant) of South Beloit, IL and Marie Fago (Keith) of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Amanda Agate, Anthony Agate, Jake Agate, Elizabeth Graham, Nick Graham, Brandon Fago and Justin Fago; and his great grandchildren, Kenneth Russell and Margaret Russell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Beloit Regional Hospice.
