He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Briscoe and Sylvia Briscoe (Dance); and his siblings, Wilbur and Beverley Stauffacher. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette M. Bowles; his children, Stephen Briscoe (Cindy) of Rockton, IL and Kelly Hoagland (Timothy) of Rock Falls, IL; his grandchildren, Eric Briscoe (Stacey), Thomas Briscoe and Adam Hoagland (Katie); his great grandchildren, Norah, Elise, Corrine and Colton Hoagland; his stepgrandchildren, Jacquie Seymour (Chad) and Jennifer Rowlett (Larry); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryan VanSchelven, Kaden VanSchelven, Payton Seymour, Colton Rowlett and Taylor Rowlett; and his sister Marilyn Ruppert (Buck). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in his name to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
