It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth A. Atwood of South Beloit, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 86, on June 14, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Johnson-Gustafson and Violet Johnson-Gustafson; and her husband Donald Atwood. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Sell (Atwood) and Kevin; her son-in-law Jim Sell; her sister Mary Spring (Ron); her stepsister Maureen Braden; her sister Martha Branch; her stepmother Maxine Gustafson; her stepsiblings, Sonny Essex and Myrna Johnson; and also James McNally. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Central Christian Church (2460 Milwaukee Rd, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
