In loving memory of Barbara Rippberger of South Elgin, Illinois, who departed this world on February 7, 2026 at the age of 84. Barbara leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wacker and Merriles Wacker; and her husband Norm Rippberger. She is survived by: her children, Randy of Genoa and Kris (Tom Mogler) of Elgin; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Cortney and Brandon Ripberger.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Journey Care of Barrington.
