He was predeceased by : his wife Carol Jean Slarich; his parents, George and Bertha; and his siblings, George and Rita.

He is survived by : his children, Scott Slarich (Christine) and Sandra Floyd (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Diane, Steven, Lilian and Piper. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (95 S Gilbert St, South Elgin, IL 60177). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at the Lakewood Memorial Park.
