Stephen McKenney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen McKenney of South Elgin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Stephen's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Stephen's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda; his children, Shannon Burless (Andrew), Nicole Rodriguez (Eduardo), Stephen McKenney and Maureen Jackson; his grandson Oliver; and his brothers, James McKenney (Esther), William Ruddle and Michael Ruddle. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of South Elgin (95 S Gilbert St, South Elgin, IL 60177).
