It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Young Kim of South Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Young Kim to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tae Jin Kang and Sun Duk Moon; and her siblings, Chang Woo Kang, Jeong Im Kang and Han Gil Kang.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Ok Hyung Kim; her children, Linda Fennell and Jeffrey Kim; and her grandchildren, Nathan Kim, Braedyn Kim and Gavin Fennell.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Village Squire (125 Washington St, West Dundee, IL 60118).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Young's memory to United Stroke Alliance (http://unitedstrokealliance.org), or Unite for HER (Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support).
