Norman L. Lardi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman L. Lardi of South Wilmington, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sereno Zene and Natalie Lardi (Dinelli); and his brothers, Kenneth and Gene Lardi. He is survived by: his wife Donita Arthur; his children, Norman, Jr. Lardi (Donna) of South Wilmington, Patti Hines (late Jeff) of Gardner and Ron Lardi of Dwight, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jennifer Memmel (Terry), Kyle Hines (Diana), Brandon Marks, Michelle Phillips (Mike), Natalie Eddy (Jeff), Tessa Hammons (Chris) and Paige Jett (Luke); his great grandchildren, Lily, Hudson, Thea Eddy, Crosby, Cora Hammons, Beau Hines, Luca, Everly Phillips, Ivy Jett and Carter Memmel; his brother Richard Lardi (late Rosemary); and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Lardi, Shirley Lardi and John Arthur (Anita). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reeves Funeral Home (203 Liberty St, Gardner, IL 60424). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Norman's memory to the South Wilmington Fire Department.
