The memory of Charlotte L. Gasser of Sparta, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2026 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jochim and Blanche Bosler Jochim; her husband Andrew Frank Gasser; her granddaughter Heather Gasser; and her siblings, Alice (Rudy), Rea (Gene) and Elmer (Florence).
She is survived by: her children, Mike Gasser (Connie) of Bremen, IL, Diana Cote (Steven) of O'Fallon, IL, Steve Gasser (Susan) of St. Pete Beach, FL, Tim Gasser (Amy) of Coulterville, IL and Jim Gasser (Kim Shrum) of Steeleville, IL; her grandchildren, Ashley Deutschmann (Michael), Jillian Ferguson (Benton), Luke Gasser, Cameron Gasser, Brooke Dunn, Colton Dunn, Haley Shrum and Trevor Shrum; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Reid and Maxwell Deutschmann.
Mrs. Gasser's wishes were for anatomical donation to St. Louis University School of Medicine and a memorial mass will follow at a later date. Memorials may be given to St. Ann's Altar Sodality or Masses, and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
