He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Leming and Viola Leming (Montgomery); and his sisters, Sharon Leming and Tammi Leiner. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Leming of Sparta, IL; his daughter Christine Toben (Kevin) of Belleville, IL; his grandchildren, James Toben, Anna Toben, Mary Toben and John Toben; his brother Richard Leming (Barbara) of Coulterville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Hodge (Tom) of Sparta, IL, Connie Blair (Jim) of Sebastian, FL and Paul Blair of Robinsonville, MS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (611 W Broadway St, Sparta, IL 62286). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
