He was predeceased by: his parents, William Virgil and Laura; and his siblings, Kevin Fudge, Richard Dethrow, June Combs, Marlene Narragon, Darlene Runge, Claudette James, Glynda Duvall and Linda Hindman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Donald Dethrow (Denise) of Sparta, IL, Kim Gross (Joe) of Chester, IL, Charles Dethrow of Sparta, IL and Kerri Dethrow (Matt Bowen) of Sparta, IL; his grandchildren, Dustin Dethrow (Lindsey), Drew Dethrow (Hannah), Megan Eggers (Steve), Nicholas Jones, Kristin Dethrow, Holli Dethrow and Gabriella Dethrow-Estrada; his siblings, Kenneth Fudge (Janet) of Steeleville, IL and Patricia Grah of Chester, IL; and his friend Don Smith. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
