He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Myrle and Juanita; his wife Lisa Simmons; and his siblings, B. J. Simmons, Rusty White, Rodney White, Crystal and Donna Rae.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Ann Vance (Marty) of Murphysboro, IL; his brother Danny Lee White of Goreville, IL; his stepdaughter Amanda Wandro (Kerry); and his children, Kyle, Krista and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a no kill animal shelter of the donor's choice.
