He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Ira and Bessie Mae Walker (Rainwater); his spouse Shirley A. Zielinski; and his sisters, Lola Pundsack, Betty Lou Mifflin and Marie Preston.
He is survived by: his children, Terry E. Walker of Sparta, Edward L. Walker, Jr. (Gail) of Tilden and Michele L. Walker of Sparta; his grandchildren, Destiny Sanford, Kyle Walker, Ailene Walker, Kannon Walker and Salena White; and his great grandchild Penelope Stork.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (7568 Park Rd, Tamaroa, IL 62888).
Friends may make memorials to the Du Quoin V.F.W. and will be accepted at the funeral home.
