We bid farewell to Marilyn S. Gerlach of Sparta, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2026 at the age of 90. Marilyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Willis R. Gerlach; her parents, Orville Marlow and Beulah Marlow; her son Terry Gerlach; her brothers, Roger Marlow and Darroll Marlow; and her siblings-in-law, James Gerlach, Donald Moeller, William Moeller and Janet Shipp.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Sue Truluck (Randy); her grandchildren, Jerad Hoffmann (Stephanie), Bryan Jordan Hoffmann (Ottilie), Terry Ryan Gerlach (Andrea), Richard Caleb Gerlach (Autumn), Billi Gerlach (Haley), Marilyn Newport (Casey) and Heaven Sanderson (Josh); her stepgrandchildren, Jennie Martinsen, Jeremy Truluck and Kristen Schumacher; her sister Ramona Hatch (Dustin); and her sisters-in-law, Nellie Gerlach, Jeanette Moeller, Mary Helen Moeller and Alice Marlow (Roger). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
