She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon and Ammie Ruby Farris; her siblings, Butch Farris, Harold Farris, Gerald Farris, Peggy Stevenson and James Vernon Farris, Jr.; and her brother-in-law Harry Duncan.
She is survived by: her husband John Alan; her daughter Mindy (Steve); her sisters, Carolyn, Joyce (Mike) and Pamela (Roland); her sisters-in-law, Brenda Farris and Kay Farris; her grandchildren, Brie Bolin (Josiah), Cara Cowell (Erik), Anna Cross (Allecia), Addison Lee, Haley Ring, John Lee, Arik Lee, Andrew Friess (Emily), Matthew Friess and Lauren Friess; and her great grandchild Carter Cowell.
